Toni Camp - painter

At the center of her work is a deep sense of home. At heart, she is a homebody who finds inspiration in quiet rhythms-books well loved, simple routines, and the steady practice of making art. Creativity has always been present in her life, though for many years it remained quietly in the background. Returning to painting felt like a homecoming, an honoring of the child who once spent hours sketching, painting, and writing poetry.

She is an acrylic artist working primarily in abstract, with elements of impressionism woven throughout her work. Her paintings are intuitive and layered, often shaped by memory, place, and emotion rather than literal representation. Influenced by the natural beauty and atmosphere of the Gulf Coast, her style balances movement and restraint, softness and structure-inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and find meaning within the in between.

She lives in Ocean Springs, where the surrounding landscape and vibrant arts community continue to inform her work.

She was recently honored with the Excellence in Abstract award at the Singing River Art Association Spring Show 2025.
