Dorea Arguelles - Potter/ceramics

I grew up in Biloxi, on the point, in a shrimping family.  I learned the trade of basket weaving in Pensacola, Florida, forty-one years ago.  Moved from the Gulf Coast twenty-two years ago.  I was in Minnesota the last twelve years, the winters were too long and cold, it brought me home.  I am a certified health coach and enjoy creating with foods also.  I went back to college in my fifties and finished a degree I started before children, an Associate in Art.  I have taught art to both children and adults.  I published a book in 2014, a memoir.  A journey of faith through trials and suffering.  The sunflower on the bottom of my pots represent part of my journey.  I heard the sunflower follows the sun.

My hope is to follow the SON.
