Nathalie Pettit is a pastelist and watercolorist living and working in Ocean Springs, MS.
After graduating from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Political Science and Thomas Jefferson School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree, she joined the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. She was deployed to Iraq in 2003 and is a disabled (PTSD) veteran. Prior to retiring on the Gulf Coast in 2022, she spent 20 years practicing law in Hawaii.
Nathalie has been painting since childhood. Throughout her life, she has relied on art to heal and ground her in the present moment. Art is her lifeline. She works intuitively and thoughtfully to create paintings which capture the beauty around her and to connect with others who long for peace, pause, and reflection in an increasingly hectic and divided world.
