I began learning photography in1980 using film cameras. Film cameras taught me how to use the available light and how to compose the image in camera. This proved invaluable when I switched to digital format. I took to digital work like a duck to water. Processing images in my 'Lightroom' program sure beat using chemicals and timers in a 'dark room'. The ability to cut out parts of my photos and merge them with other photos to compose a new image opened a whole new world to me!
