Sandra Schniffner

Digital Artist

Often I take hundreds of photographs on a single outing and I seldom know exactly what I am trying to capture. Serendipity very often becomes my path to creativity! Photographing that peaceful scene, unique pattern in the sky, or that odd little duck in the water is only the starting point. Later, as I process the photographs — typically raw digital images, I begin to discover little stories in many of the frames. The world of digital art opens so many new creative avenues; and once an avenue is chosen for a frame, there may be a thousand more that are available.

Essentially, I am a self-taught photographer and digital artist. Although my vocational history is in nursing, psychology, and teaching, I am now retired from Biloxi Public Schools as a Psychometrist. Thank you all for visiting our site.
